BLOOM COOKING

Our weekly cooking group consists of meal plan, budgeting, shopping, meal prep, cooking and eating the meal. Today the adult group worked together to choose a meal from our recipe books, budget out the average cost of items and walk to the shops to purchase items. This is an informal way to get our bodies active before eating a healthy meal. The participants then walked back to the hub to prep and cook the meal. Whilst cooking, all participants are given different roles and involved in everyway. The informal social and relationship building skills are what makes our groups even more special. Being able to learn skills, whilst communicated with their peers is one of the best kinds of learning.
